   Hedrick Belin brings more than 15 years of nonprofit leadership and fundraising experience to Metropolitan Group. He has worked for several national conservation organizations, including the Nature Conservancy, Izaak Walton League and the National Park Foundation.
   
   Before coming to MG, Hedrick ran the field program at the National Park Foundation, where he trained volunteer leaders in fundraising and increased this division's revenue by nearly ,1 million in two years. He also tripled board giving over a 24,month period and was responsible for cultivating major individual donors. Throughout his career, he has focused on traditional fundraising and also building innovative revenue streams, including one that generated over ,2.5 million for national parks in just six months. He has experience with grassroots organizing, special events, capital campaign planning, sponsorship, board recruitment and development, strategic planning and government relations.
   
   Hedrick graduated from Yale University with a bachelor's degree in history and received his master's in public administration from George Washington University. When Hedrick is not spending time with his wife, Mary, and their two young children, he's out hitting the trails to train for his next road race.
