   Belgum recording Retirement Fund II: The Audit American Book Review said "With the publication of Star Fiction. . . Belgum takes his place as one of the most prominent practitioners of the new radical short fiction." Star Fiction was recently selected as one of Small Press Distribution's Top Titles of 1997.
   
   In addition to Star Fiction (available through Small Press Distribution, 1814 San Pablo Avenue, Berkeley, CA 94702), Belgum has published fiction in over two dozen journals, including Asylum Annual, Avec, Chicago Review, Central Park, Black Ice, Caliban and on the Alt-X literary website.
   
   Belgum's novel "The Man Who Could Talk," was recently published through Rrat Publishing (PO Box 1011, SA 5071, Kent Town, Australia - contact: timgaze@academy.net.au).
   
   Erik Belgum Belgum's fiction works for radio have aired nationally on New American Radio and in Europe and through release on several CD's including Sonic Circuits IV
   
   (available through the American Composer's Forum, 332 Minnesota Street, E-145, St. Paul, MN 55101-1300), and on Aerial #4 (available through the Nonsequitur Foundation, PO Box 344, Albuquerque, NM 87103). His radio piece "Blodder" is forthcoming on Nonsequitur's Radius series.
   
   Along with Brian West, Belgum is co-editor of VOYS (PO Box 580547, Minneapolis, MN 55458-0547), a sound journal on compact disc dedicated to all types of work involving speech.
   
   Belgum is currently collaborating with BONK composer Eric Lyon on Retirement Fund, a serial opera in annual installments.
