Dr. Belgami joined BIBF in September 1999. He began instructing in the Banking & Finance Learning Center before switching to the Financial Services Learning Center where he now instructs courses on banking and finance.
Prior to joining BIBF, Dr. Belgami was the Assistant Professor of Accounting and Finance at the India Institute of Plantation Management. At Manglore University, he instructed MBA and MCom courses in Corporate Finance, Advanced Accounting, Security Analysis and Portfolio Management, and Management Accounting. He has also contributed research papers featured in various academic journals in the areas of accounting and finance and conducted several development programs for corporate executives in the plantation and agri-business sector.
Dr. Belgami holds a PhD in Accounting from Manglore University, India, an MCom from Banglore University, India, and a BCom from S.V. University, India.
