Jay Belding
Jay Belding graduated from Trenton State College (now the College of New Jersey) in 1973 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Arts and Technology and a Masters in Special Education. Following a brief teaching career, Jay embarked on an entrepreneurial path which to date has included business ventures in homebuilding, cookies, candles, bagel chips, oil absorbing products, and contract packaging.
In 1977, he and his wife Barbara established a vocational training facility for the handicapped. Today they train and employ 300 person who are engaged in packaging tasks for companies such as Ricola cough drops, Starbucks, and Crayola.
Jay is currently and elder at the Doylestown Presbyterian Church in Pennsylvania. His son is a medical student at Case Western University and his daughter is a junior in high school. Jay is currently on the Board of Directors of Life Abundant, a prison ministry located in the Bucks County jail. He is also a drummer in "Makefield", a classic rock band whose motto is appropriately, "If you're not good,be loud!" -
