Eser Uzun Belding, Ph.D. - President-Elect & Vice President
A Corporate Consultant and Executive Counselor, Dr. Eser Uzun Belding has a Post-Doctoral certificate from the Univ. of Virginia, she got her PhD and MA in Organizational Sciences from the Univ. of Michigan (U of M). She has a BA in Psychology from the Univ. of Istanbul; also, she is a graduate of American Academy , and British High Sch. for Girls in Istanbul . Presently, she is serving on the Boards of Women's Fund of New Jersey, and of Women for Good Government (WAGG). Upon receiving her doctorate, Eser U. Belding stayed at U of M first at the Institute for Social Research (ISR) as a Research Investigator then as Assistant Professor of Management. At U of M, she was also elected to serve as the Doctoral Program Coordinator of Organizational Psychology Program and as the Research Scientist and Internal Consultant to VA Hospital and Medical School Alliance. With her family's move to the east coast, Dr Belding joined Fordham University as an Associate Professor of Management in 1988 Fall; later she also took on the position of Director of Planning and Special Projects at the Graduate School of Business, where she designed and implemented the award winning Global MBA program. Throughout the years Dr Belding has done extensive consulting both internationally (Japan, China, Hong Kong, Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Russia) and locally, ranging from Fortune 500 companies to medium sized corporations across various industries and Government Agencies. Dr Belding has received numerous awards over the years, including the national Valley Forge Honor for Excellence in Teaching in Economics, and have been cited in several volumes if Distinguished Personalities including Who‘s Who in the East, Emerging Leaders in America, and AIB- Distinguished Leadership; she is a Barbour Scholar and Rackham Scholar of U of M. Dr Belding enjoys reading and performing arts; She has Two sons and lives in NJ.
