Andrea Belding made her professional concerto debut playing the Beethoven Violin Concerto with the Cleveland Philharmonic Orchestra.She was appointed concertmaster of the same orchestra while still a senior at the Cleveland Institute of Music.Going beyond the Bachelor's degree that she received from the Institute, Ms. Belding graduated with her Master of Music degree from that same school May 2007.There, she studied with Stephen Rose, acclaimed teacher and Cleveland Orchestra Principal Second Violin.Not only did Ms. Belding receive a Master's in violin performance, but also in Suzuki pedagogy, under the guidance of Kimberly Meier-Sims.

Ms. Belding was sought out by the Black River String Quartet to become their first violinist, and remains active both performing with the group and in residence at Lorain County Community College.Her current professional life also includes working as a violin teacher at the Aurora School of Music.Ms. Belding was born and raised in Geneva, New York.Originally a s Suzuki student herself, she numbers Sanford Reuning, Janice Butler, Linda Chase, and David Russell amongst her previous teachers.
