   Waleed Belcher Waleed Belcher has been working at The Hoop Factory since 2005 as an Instructor and assistant administrator. He brings extensive experience developing youth in basketball and learning environments. With over 8 years experience with camps, Waleed brings a patient and persevering attitude towards building skill, physical and mental development of players.
   
   Waleed is a native of Toronto, Ontario and was an intricate part of Eastern Commerce high school winning two consecutive (OFSSA) gold medals in 1995 and 1996. After high school, Waleed attended George Brown College for two years and led them to an undefeated regular season in his final year. And graduated in Business Management.
   
   2000-2001, Waleed was the assistant coach at Eastern Commerce high school, which won the city and metro championships, that year. The team featured star point guard Kingsley Costain of Pepperdine University.
   
   Waleed went on to attend Ryerson University, playing two more seasons, where he finished up a successful playing career.
   
   Currently, Waleed is the assistant coach of Vaughan Road Collegiate basketball team, which won the Toronto District 3A championship this year.
