   PAUL LYON - You informed me and others via e mail and phone that Vic Belcher the current u12 rep manager was going to concede the two fixtures and this resulted in Kenny being appointed temporary manager.

   Vic Belcher has run the U12 team since U9 and to be treated in this fashion is reprehensible. As you know, he certainly did not resign his post or indeed leave the U12 team in the lurch. He has devoted his time voluntarily for four years in a highly professional manner.

   Chris Madden collected all contact nos and part of the kit from Vic Belcher on Thursday 13th April.

   From the list given to him by Vic, Chris Madden subsequently telephoned a rep parent of the original rep team and collected the rest of the kit from her on Friday 14th April.

   Finally, I would like to express my great thanks to Vic Belcher for his very hard work over the past four years as U12 rep manager. I have had many phone calls from rep parents, past and present, sending their good wishes and sadness at his departure.

   My only comment is that Vic did not have an asistant that was approved in advance by the League. You talk about his assistant being CRB checked, but w have no details of an Assistant.

   I go to rep team games and I agree that the under 12 team has been well below par and full of Vic's mates and not even a good assessment of the under 12 league, 3 OCC lads were picked but as I understand it one went ill, so get your facts right before spouting off.

   As for training at least once a month, Vic Belcher's squad was due to train/trial on the 12th April and then you threw a hissy fit about your players not being available and it was cancelled.

   As for Vic's assistant approved in advance by the league. He is an U12 team manager and already CRB checked so you would not have been in "big trouble".
