With all that that in mind, I sought out a couple of respected professionals-Terri Jones of Access and Thomas Becher of John Lambert Associates in Roanoke-to talk a bit about what there was for businesses to learn from all this messy democracy. -

President

(540) 772-3942
If there were such a thing as time travel, the public relations world would have lost Thomas to his love of commercial aviation in the Wright Brothers' era. Lucky for tba, he's firmly rooted in the 21st century.
Thomas helps put the polish on client projects with his corporate expertise in media relations, employee communications and crisis management. He began his career as a reporter and editor with the Associated Press. Later, Thomas worked at the University of Connecticut and for jet engine-maker Pratt & Whitney as its senior writer in employee communications. He served as director of corporate communications for Atlas Air, one of the world's largest cargo airlines and most recently Thomas was manager of media relations for Northwest Airlines, the world's fourth-largest airline. He's even written two books on aviation, "Boeing 757/767" and "Douglas Twinjets" for Crowood Press.
When he's not spotting aircraft in the sky or visiting airports around the world, Thomas and his wife, Amy, keep busy with their sons, Phillip and Andrew, and their dog, Daisy. They enjoy travel and hiking and getting together with friends.
Thomas is a graduate of Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism, where he earned a bachelor's degree in journalism and a master's degree in newspaper administration. -
