Belcher will be responsible for overseeing marketing activities for all of Artisan's home entertainment product including the development, creative direction and strategic marketing surrounding new and library releases on video and DVD. Additionally he will be charged with building brand marketing for the company's own Family Home Entertainment division as well as Artisan distributed brands such as Discovery, Hallmark, The Firm and the Baby Einstein Company.
Prior to joining Artisan, Belcher was Vice President of Marketing for Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, having started with Fox in 1994 as a Marketing Manager. While at Fox, he was responsible for the overall marketing activities for over $700 million in sales and worked on top titles including Indepedence Day, True Lies, Waiting to Exhale, The Simpsons and The X-Files. Before Fox, Belcher worked at Buena Vista Television as a Marketing Manager responsible for syndicated programming. Belcher has also held a number of marketing positions at consumer product companies such as Quaker Oats and Proctor & Gamble.
