    Genot's tall tales took something away from legitimate veterans, said Alan Belcher, a psychologist who works with veterans and who fought with the 1st Cavalry Division in Vietnam from 1968 to 1969.Belcher is president of Transitional Living Services, a Hebron shelter for homeless veterans for which Genot served as a board member for several years.
