   The history of Super Sky Products, Inc. actually began in 1923 when Walter Belau, its founder and a sheet metal worker, started a business by the name of Super Steel Products that manufactured fireproof windows and hollow metal doors. In 1929, he expanded his operation and added a skylight division. Due to the success and dramatic growth of this division, it was separated from Super Steel Products; and, in 1959, officially became known as Super Sky Products.

   Shortly thereafter, Super Steel was sold to outside investors to enable Mr. Belau to devote more time to his Super Sky skylight business.
