Jacques Belanger, Ph.D., VP Engineering
Dr. Jacques Belanger is the Vice President of Engineering for Cool Earth Solar.Prior to joining Cool Earth Solar, Dr. Belanger was a Managing Engineer in Exponent's Thermal Sciences practice.Before Exponent, Dr. Belanger was an Assistant Professor in the Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics Department at the University of Minnesota.He also worked as a research scientist at the California Institute of Technology, where he worked on advanced propulsion systems for the aerospace industry.
Prior to his Ph.D. work at the California Institute of Technology, he participated in the development of large numerical codes when he worked at TAO Simulation and performed large-scale tests at ONERA-CERT.
Dr. Belanger is a registered professional mechanical engineer in the state of California.He also holds the following professional credentials:
Hazardous Waste Operation and Emergency Response Certification Per 29 CFR 1910.120 and CAL-OSHA GISO 5192; Fire Cause and Origin Investigation Training (1A and 1B), State of California, Office of the State Fire Marshal; NFPA International (member); American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (member); American Society of Mechanical Engineers (member)
