Mr. Michel Beland

Michel Beland joined eCloser , Inc. from Rogers AT&T Wireless Inc. the largest wireless service provider in Canada , where he was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Beland is a Chartered Accountant and brings over 20 years of broad management and financial experience to eCloser , Inc.Mr. Beland began his career in the hospitality industry where he spent 11 years with Four Seasons Hotels and Delta Hotels occupying a number of increasingly senior roles and responsibilities.He was Property Controller , Divisional Controller and finally Vice President and Corporate Controller.

From 1991 to 1993 , Mr. Beland joined Softkey Software Products , a publicly traded company ( NASDAQ , TSE , MSE ) , as Executive Vice President , Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer where he oversaw the rapid growth of this diversified software development company.During that period , Softkey was the fastest growing software company in Canada.

In April 1993 , Mr. Beland joined Newcourt Credit Group Inc. , an asset based lender with a portfolio of in excess of $ 30 billions as Vice President , Financial Planning and Reporting.He was a key member of the successful team that lead the Initial Public Offering filed by the company in the spring of 1994 ( TSE and NYSE ).At that time , Mr. Beland was promoted to the position of Vice President , Finance and then relocated to the United States where he assumed the functions of Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer.There he was instrumental in the setting-up of Newcourt's first offices and operations in the U.S.A. In early 1998 , Mr. Beland assumed the function of Senior Vice President Joint Ventures with responsibilities for the financial and relational management of all key joint venture programs with companies such as Dell Computer , Lucent Technologies and Snap-on Tools while continuing with his financial responsibilities.He then took on additional responsibilities as Senior Vice President Operations until his departure to join Rogers AT&T Wireless.

Mr. Beland is a chartered accountant and a member of the Ontario Institute of Chartered Accountants and of the L'Ordre des Comptables Agrées du Québec and holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from l'Université du Québec.
