   James joined our staff in August 2002.A native of Antigonish, Nova Scotia, James studied at St. Francis Xavier University (B.Sc. Hons.) and Dalhousie University (B.Ed.) before going overseas to teach in St. Petersburg, Russia.Returning from Russia, he and his wife Caroline moved to Vancouver, where James completed a Master of Christian Studies at Regent College.After teaching high school in Alberta, James served for four years as principal of London Parental Christian School.James and Caroline have three young children: Isaiah, Benjamin and Eden.James is passionate about adult education in the local church.His experience as a teacher and his desire to see Christians mature spiritually combine for a strong commitment to discipleship ministries at North Park.Commenting on the nature and role of spiritual formation at North Park, James says, "I understand the term spiritual formation to refer generally to the process by which a Christian moves from ?infancy? to maturity in Christ.
