   Marc often oversees and assists in the settlement of the estates of high net-worth individuals. Marc has routinely represented these estates in both the Surrogate's Courts and before various tax authorities. In addition, Marc has been appointed by various courts to represent the interests of persons with a disability.
   
   Marc is an associate in the Trusts and Estates group at Meltzer Lippe. Marc received his Bachelors of Arts in Mathematics from the State University of New York at Binghamton, his Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law, and his Masters of Laws in Taxation from New York University School of Law. Marc is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey and California, as well as a number of federal courts including the United States Tax Court.
   
   Prior to joining Meltzer Lippe, Marc obtained a wide variety of experience through his association with two New York City law firms and as a Vice President at a large trust company. At Meltzer Lippe, Marc is involved in all aspects of estate planning and estate administration. Marc's practice in estate planning includes the preparation of wills and trusts with an emphasis on the implementation of techniques designed to minimize the effects of estate and gift taxes. In his practice in the area of estate administration, Marc often oversees and assists in the settlement of the estates of high net-worth individuals. Marc has routinely represented these estates in both the Surrogate's Courts and before various tax authorities. In addition, Marc has been appointed by various courts to represent the interests of persons with a disability.
   
   Marc is active in local, state, and national bar associations. He currently serves as Chair of the Committee on Non-Tax Issues Affecting the Planning and Administration of Estates and Trusts, as Co-Chair of the Committee on CLE at Section Meetings, as a member of the standing committees for Continuing Legal Education and Community Outreach, and as an ex-officio member of the council for the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the American Bar Association. Marc has also served as Chair of the Estate Planning and Estate and Gift Tax Committee of the New York County Lawyer's Association and was honored as a Rising Star of the Association.
   
   Marc has published articles in numerous publications, including Probate & Property, Estate Planning and The Practical Lawyer. He is a frequent lecturer for the American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, New York County Lawyers Association, Practicing Law Institute, and other professional organizations on a variety of topics related to trusts and estates. In addition, he is an adjunct professor at New York Law School teaching classes related to trusts and estates.
   
   Marc enjoys spending time with his wife Lynn, who is a clinical neuropsychologist, and their twin children, William and Elizabeth. Marc's hobbies include studying martial arts, and he is a season ticket holder to the New York Jets.
