SAUGUS - Chester L. Bejtlich II , 86 , died March 6 , 2001 , at Union Hospital in Lynn.He was the husband of Adeline E. ( Gallant ) Bejtlich.

He was born and raised in Lynn , the son of the late Chester L. and Salomea ( Bochniak ) Bejtlich.He was a graduate of Lowell Technical Institute.

Mr. Bejtlich was employed as a manufacturing engineer at the General Electric Co. for more than 32 years.He also worked at Raytheon Co. for more than 15 years.

He was a member of the G.E. Sparkplugs Club.

In addition to his wife , he is survived by three sons , Richard Bejtlich and his wife Carol of Billerica , Chester L. Bejtlich III and his wife Jennifer of Reading , and Gregory E. Bejtlich and his wife Nancy of Bedford , N.H. ; two daughters , Donna M. Dorr and her husband Russell of Casco , Maine , and Georgianna Pilkington and her husband John of Eliot , Maine ; three sisters , Lea Smith of Peabody , Natalie Gallagher and Clara Zamejtis , both of Lynn ; and 12 grandchildren.He was also the brother of the late Maximillian Bejtlich.

A funeral was held March 9 , from the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home in Saugus , followed by a funeral mass in Our Lady of Assumption Church , Lynnfield.Interment was in Riverside Cemetery , Saugus.
