Harel is Chairman of the Board of CogniTens, a provider of advanced manufacturing solutions for process improvements to the manufacturing industries, also Harel is the Chairman of the Board of ECtel (NASDAQ:ECTX) and serves on the Board of Directors of Red Bend, Shunra and Optimal Test. After serving in various marketing roles, Harel became the key person in building Tecnomatix's highly successful global sales organization. In 1994, Harel became the President of Tecnomatix and from 1996 to 2004 served as President and CEO. Harel led Tecnomatix's transformation from a supplier of tactical engineering software products to a strategic provider of complete enterprise software solutions for process management and collaboration. Under his leadership, Tecnomatix enjoyed rapid growth and established itself as the world leader in the manufacturing process management software market, with an impressive customer base of over 5,000 of the world's top manufacturers. Harel played a key role in forming key strategic alliances with industry leaders. During his eight year tenure, Tecnomatix grew to over $100 million in revenues and more than 650 employees. Harel is viewed as a thought leader in the manufacturing software space and is often invited to lecture at industry conferences. Harel has been an active member of Carmel's Investment Committee since Carmel's inception.
