   Malachi Beit-Arié is Ludwig Jesselson Emeritus Professor of Codicology and Palaeography at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Member of The Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities and Head of the Hebrew Palaeography Project.He is completing his definitive work, summing up 40 years of research - Historical and Comparative Typology of Hebrew Medieval Codices based on the Documentation of the Extant Dated Manuscripts in Quantitative Approach , which will first be accessible on the internet (attached to the SfarData online database).He is delivering a course on Hebrew codicology during Trinity Term organised by the Hebrew and Jewish Studies Unit of Oxford University
