Total Petrochemicals USA, Inc. has announced the appointment of Stan Beisert to the position of plant manager for the company's Bayport Polyethylene Plant in Pasadena, CA. Beisert joined Total Petrochemicals in 1985 as an engineer in the Big Spring, TX, refinery and later transferred to the La Porte Research and Technology Center. In 1990, he moved to the La Porte Polypropylene Plant where he served as an engineer and then as a superintendent in the Operations and Safety groups. He became the technical manager at Bayport in 2000, and then operations manager. Beisert graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in chemical engineering. -
