   The founder and managing partner of The Acceleration Group, Michael is a serial entrepreneur who has started and grown several companies in technology, software, online services, and general consulting industries including: TAG, Dyno Networks, Novaforge Total Security, Infomech Internet Commerce, and High Branch Software. As managing partner of TAG, Michael has overseen direct TAG investments in a diverse group of companies in industries ranging from defense and technology, to consumer services and real estate developments. Michael has also actively consulted and supported several other companies with their growth and fund raising challenges.
   
   Companies he has led have been characterized by rapid growth and received awards such as the Deloitte & Touche "Fast-50" for rapid growth. His first company, InfoMech, grew profitably to over 80 employees within 3 years of its founding on internally generated profits alone. He has also led multiple rounds of venture capital and angel funding for tech and non-tech businesses.
   
   Michael is also the founder of Dyno Networks, a technology consulting firm that has developed techniques to streamline global content distribution. Dyno provides technology consulting services to help charity organizations such as the National Kidney Foundation to extend their community, grow web traffic, and increase client interactions. Dyno's team of developers and consultants specialize in innovative web 2.0 (community focused) applications, recently focusing development efforts upon the emerging Facebook platform.
   
   Prior to Dyno, Michael founded Novaforge, a comprehensive security product and services firm encompassing technology and non-tech solutions. Michael's first company, InfoMech Internet Commerce, was a leading e-commerce service provider and responsible for training-the-trainers on several industry leading platforms. Infomech created a line of products (web catalog, auction, & exchange solutions) launched under the brand Enterchange. Clients included Arthur Andersen, Nabisco, Bell Labs, Panasonic, and CMGI. Infomech grew successfully through the bursting of the internet bubble - and then became High Branch Software in 2001. the company was rebranded after a venture capital raise that Michael led successfully when most other firms failed to raise capital - during the uncertain and challenging funding time frame after the internet bubble burst.
   
   As an avid fan of entrepreneurial energy and innovation, Michael has voluntarily served as an Area Director on a global level and Past President of the Entrepreneurs Organization, for the Washington DC chapter, having been also elected to many board roles including sponsorship, membership, and learning. He was recognized for leadership in the 6000+ strong international entrepreneur organization including winning the respected Trimble Award for chapter growth. Michael was also one of the cofounders of Angels Camp, an innovative startup non-profit organization that dedicates itself to fighting the challenge of homelessness nationwide.
   
   Michael has been featured in entrepreneur business articles in magazines such as Business Week. Michael contributed chapters to "Lessons-From-The-Edge," a book deriving entrepreneurial lessons from dramatic business experiences. Michael has spoken on entrepreneurial and venture capital topics and he has also taught graduate student courses on e-commerce and relevant new technologies at George Washington University.
   
   His formal training and experience includes serving as company commander of a Military Police unit and as an Armor officer in the US Army, a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace/Mechanical engineering from The University of Texas, and MBA studies at George Mason University. He is a graduate of MIT's executive "Birthing of Giants" program in the class of 2002 (an Inc Magazine joint venture graduate program for entrepreneurs) and The Kaufmann Gathering of Entrepreneurs.
   
   Michael's personal interests include traveling, playing his Taylor guitar, marathon/triathlon training, working with and coaching other entrepreneurs, and martial arts , specifically aikido.
