   Mark Beirne, President and Co-Founder Mark started his fire service career in 1980 and joined the Seattle Fire Department in 1983. He is a member of the Washington State USAR Task Force and the Technical Rescue team in Seattle. Mark has written technical rescue training guides, participated as an editor for many others and has been published in the trades.
   
   Mark is a FEMA and IAFF certified instructor who has trained several thousand fire service, military and industry personnel over the last ten years. Mark is a hazardous materials technician, technical search specialist and a rescue specialist.
