   Yuri Arkadievich Beilin played a pivotal role in YUKOS' corporate restructuring which led to the creation of YUKOS EP in 1998, and has been in charge of implementing YUKOS' Upstream strategy ever since.
   
   Before coming to YUKOS in 1996 to head the Company's Engineering Center, Dr. Beilin had held a number of industrial planning positions. He served as an investment expert at Bank MENATEP and was a member of the YUKOS/Rosprom Joint Management Board and Director and Head of the Department of Military and Technical Cooperation at Rosprom.. He also worked as Research Director for the ALTA Group in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from 1991 to 1992.
   
   Dr. Yuri Beilin graduated from the Moscow Institute of Fine Chemical Technology (Lomonosov Institute). He earned his Ph.D. in 1990 from the State Scientific Research and Design Institute for Rare Metals. He was born in 1962.
