Mr. Beil is an attorney with broad experience in litigation, intellectual property, corporate law, real estate and trusts and estates.His experience includes: representation of domestic and international corporations and individuals in wide variety of litigation, corporate, publishing, intellectual property, real estate, probate and personal matters; trials and arbitrations in complex commercial, contract, defamation, copyright, trademark, securities, employment and public interest matters in federal and state courts and arbitrations nationwide; and appeals before the United States Supreme Court, the New York State Court of Appeals, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court and other appellate courts.
PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES
Between 1980 and 1994, Mr. Beil was the Treasurer and Chairman of the Finance and Investments Committee of the Louis August Jonas Foundation, Inc.; and was a director of the Foundation through 1999.He is currently secretary and a director of Louise Wise Services.From 1981 to 1983, Mr. Beil was President of the Swarthmore College Alumni Association.Mr. Beil is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, the Federal Bar Council and the New York Intellectual Property Lawyers Association.
He has written and published the following articles:
"Politics, Religion, and Taxes -- Maintaining the Delicate Balance," 54 Congress Monthly 3 (Jan. 1987), published by the American Jewish Congress;
"Copyright, Videotape and Libraries," 7 Young Viewers 5 (1984), published by the Media Center for Children, Inc.;

Mr. Beil received his bachelor's degree in 1967 from Swarthmore College.He received his J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School where he was Articles Editor for the Harvard Civil Rights - Civil Liberties Law Review.
Mr. Beil became a member of the New York State bar in 1972.He is also admitted to United States Supreme Court and various federal district and circuit courts.
