He is currently vice president and controller for DaVita Inc, a $5 billion healthcare company with a Tacoma-based business office. From 1979 to 1999, he held a variety of divisional and corporate finance positions with The Boeing Company. He is a certified public accountant, with five years of public accounting experience. He has previously served on the board of Seattle Goodwill and the accounting advisory board for the University of Washington.
