Falk Beil, member of the advisory board Dr. Falk Beil, born 1953 in Flensburg, Germany, is the head of Volkswagen's electric/electronics technology center. Until 2001, he was in charge of the group's infotainment development unit. Prior to this engangement, he spent two years in Mexico heading the development divisions of electric/electronics, chassis and vehicle-testing for Volkswagen de Mexico. He first joined Volkswagen in 1988 as an engineer in R & D, a year later he became assistant of the divisional head and in 1992, he became sub-department head of technical development and one year later head of the car electrical systems department.
