Mr. Mike Beier

Mike Beier - co-owner of Edventures in Learning, Inc.Mr. Beier has more than a decade of product design and business development experience in the arena of management consulting.Prior to joining Edventures, he co-founded Root Fields with Randy Root, founder of Root Learning, to provide value growth tools and services to owners of medium and large private businesses.He managed the early design and development of the web-enabled BizBallÔ Value Management System.During the beta phase of development, he served as company President and was responsible for directing all company operations.

He previously served as Managing Director of Root Learning's Energy Sector Markets.Responsibilities over his eight year tenure included accountability for all business development, the design and creation of custom accelerated learning tools, and the retention of key accounts.He has worked with senior leaders around the globe to support their business plan deployment initiatives.These organizations include Ameren, Arizona Public Service, BC Hydro, Ontario Hydro, Columbia Gas, Marathon Ashland Petroleum, OGE Energy, Tennessee Valley Authority, PSEG, Scottish Hydro, FirstEnergy, Hydro Quebec, Southern Company, NYSEG and Exelon to name a few.For these and other clients, he has developed customized learning solutions to support a variety of strategic and organizational change initiatives.

Prior working for Root Learning, he began his career at an investment bank on Wall Street.Mr. Beier has a B.S. degree in Finance and Management from Fordham University.

It is being started by Randall Root, the founder of Root Publishing, Inc., and Root Learning, Inc., and Michael Beier, an executive of Root Learning.
