A. The LLLI Book Evaluation Committee is comprised of LLL Leaders.It reviews books for inclusion in the LLLI Bibliography, which is a valuable resource for Leaders and LLL members.
Q. What is the LLLI Bibliography?
A. The LLLI Bibliography is a published list of books approved by LLLI for Group libraries.It is regularly published in both print and web formats.Books chosen for the LLLI Bibliography have been thoroughly evaluated by the BEC Committee and found to be supportive of LLLI's mission, purpose, and philosophy, and helpful to parents.
Q. How should LLL Groups use the LLLI Bibliography?
A. In order to help LLL Leaders and members use the LLLI Bibliography to its fullest potential, the BEC has provided a page with specific guidelines for use of the LLLI Bibliography.
Q. How can LLL Leaders and members obtain books listed on the LLLI Bibliography?
A. Because many of the books on the LLLI Bibliography may not be normally stocked by the average bookseller, the BEC has provided a page of information on obtaining books listed on the LLLI Bibliography.
Q. How are books recommended for BEC review for the LLLI Bibliography?
A. Books for BEC review are selected among recommendations from LLL Leaders and members.If you would like to suggest a book for review, please refer to our page with specific information on how to recommend books for the LLLI Bibliography.
Q. Where can one read reviews of books approved by the BEC for the LLLI Bibliography?

A. The most recent edition of the LLL Bibliography was prepared by Diane Beckman, Chair of the LLLI Book Evaluation Committee, and Michaelene Gerster, LLLI Staff Liaison.
