Beck, M.D. , earned his medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine, then completed his internship at the Letterman Army Medical Center, Presidio of San Francisco, where he also completed residency programs in surgery and urology. Dr. Beck is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of several medical societies, including the American Urological Association, American Medical Association, and American Fertility Society. In addition, he has published several articles on urological research and has held a number of prestigious teaching and hospital appointments.

Beck, MD, earned his BA from the University of Redlands in Redlands, California.He then earned his doctor of medicine (MD) degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine.Dr. Beck completed his internship at the Letterman Army Medical Center, Presidio of San Francisco, where he also performed residencies in surgery and in urology.Dr. Beck was certified by the American Board of Urology, and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).

Dr. Phillip Beck had a distinguished career in the U.S. Army Reserve, where he was Commander of the 921st MASH from 1988 to 1991 and received the order of medical military merit medal.

For keeping current in his field, Dr. Beck maintains memberships in several medical societies including the American Urological Association, the American Medical Association, and the American Fertility Society.In addition, he has published several articles in urological research and has held many prestigious teaching and hospital appointments.
