Adrian joined EMP at then inception of the Latin fund in January 1997.Adrian played a key role in LAIF's investments and acts as a board member in several of the Fund's investment companies.From 1993 to 1996, he worked as a consultant for a big six accounting and consulting firm advising Latin American governments in privatization and regulation of different infrastructure sectors.From 1990 to 1993, he worked as an investment consultant for US pension plans.He also worked as an Auditor in Buenos Aires, Argentina from 1984 to 1988.Adrian holds a B.A. in Accounting from the University of Buenos Aires (1984) and a M.B.A., with distinctions, in Finance from Boston University School of Management, Massachusetts (1990).Adrian is also a licensed C.P.A., both in Argentina and the U.S.A., and holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (C.F.A.) designation from the Association of Investment Management and Research (AIMR).He is fluent in Spanish and conversant in Portuguese.
