Jean-Pierre Beaulne

The Western Ottawa Community Resource Centre is pleased to announce Jean-Pierre Beaulne as the recipient of this year's Eva James Award. Jean-Pierre has been volunteering for the WOCRC since 1996 and has made an outstanding contribution.

For the past 11 years, Jean-Pierre has been driving seniors and persons with disabilities from Stittsville/Goulbourn to medical, legal, counselling and other appointments, such as shopping, banking, etc. In 2004, he also became a member of WOCRC's Board of Directors and quickly took on the role of Treasurer on the Board's Executive. He is also the Chair of the Finance Committee and a member of the French Language Services Committee.

"Jean-Pierre has been involved with direct client services through his work with the Transportation.

In 2007, Jean-Pierre logged 98 hours of Board volunteer work, including committees, board meetings and cheque signing. He also logged over 76 hours in volunteer transportation and has driven 1551 kms. Combined, Jean-Pierre has volunteered close to 25 seven-hour days with the Centre.
