Val graduated from the Fairview College AHT program in 1993.She gained 13-14 years of experience in mixed animal practice before developing the Veterinary Medical Receptionist course for Lakeland College.She is now an Instructor for the Veterinary Medical Receptionists and the Animal Health Technologists at Olds College, Olds, AB.

Val has been extensively involved with the AAAHT.She has been an active member since 1993, and is currently on the AAAHT Continuing Education Committee.She was part of the Hiring of Executive Director Committee in 2006.Val has served as AAAHT Vice President, and served on the AAAHT Membership Committee and AAAHT Continuing Education Committee.

The AAAHT comes to the CAAHTT table to represent the Alberta members in Canadian issues and are ready to compare and compile information to help the Animal Health Technology profession advance across Canada.

Val is married to Devin and has a daughter Cocheana.

Val graduated from the Fairview College AHT program in 1993. She still works in mixed animal practice occasionally and has been a full time instructor for the Animal Health Technology Program at Olds College since 2006.

Val has been extensively involved with the AAAHT and has been an active member since 1993. Val has served as the Sr. CAAHTT Director, AAAHT Vice President, and served on the AAAHT Membership Committee, AAAHT Continuing Education Committee, Veterinary Medical Receptionist Committee and was part of the Hiring of the Executive Director Committee.
