Christine Beard Christine Beard has worked nearly 20 years in the housing field.In 1988 she established the preservation consulting firm Tremont Preservation Services, in Ipswich, MA., which is involved in all facets of preservation work, from general historical research of structures to environmental review to preservation master planning.

Prior to starting her own firm she was a preservation consultant for the Architectural Conservation Trust for Massachusetts, where she advised architects and developers involved in restoration projects and conducted historic building surveys.

Beard holds a master's degree in historic preservation from the University of Pennsylvania.
