Associate Minister (Worship Arts): Matt Bean

Matt Bean has served Southport Heights Christian Church since 2001.He started as an intern, moved to interim music director, and currently serves as an Associate Minister.He graduated from Cincinnati Bible College (now Cincinnati Christian University ) with his B.M. in 2002.He was ordained to ministry in 2002.While at CBC, Matt was on two Come Alive Teams, and was the Team Leader for one of them.At SHCC, Matt oversees: all 4 choirs, Worship Team and Praise Band, plans the singing for most services, teaches a Sunday School class, helps with the Youth Group, and serves wherever he's needed.He also attends the IAMM (Indianapolis Area Music Ministers) meetings to network with and encourage fellow servants.Matt and his wife Leann were married in June of 2002.Matt enjoys bike rides/walks with Leann, almost all sports, and almost all games (card, board and video).He also has a deep affection for Nutty Bars and elephants (not related ... or are they?).
