Phyllis recalls the days when she and her cousin sat in the balcony of The Apollo Theater watching all the other great entertainers, all along perfecting her own craft.At the urging of Phyllis, cousin, she took her place on stage at the Apollo for Amateur Night and proudly made it to the finals.
