Aaron Lee Battle, the recipient of the Back Stage "Bistro" award for Outstanding vocalist, debut at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440 - http://www.metropolitanroom.com/ ) on Wednesday, October 3rd at 7:30 pm and Sunday October 7th at 7:00 p., with his new show "Dreamscape".Battle, known as "a jazz stylist", will explore relationships, loss, and dreams, with the songs of Stephen Schwartz, Garth Brooks, John Legend, Soren Anders and Stevie Wonder.

Battle has performed at Don't Tell Mama, Eighty Eight's, Judy's and most recently at Helen's, with his critically acclaimed show "Step Right Up", directed by Broadway and singing star Eric Michael Gillett and musical director Mark Hartman (Avenue Q).

Battle has been seen at the Mabel Mercer Foundations' Cabaret Convention in New York and San Francisco.He was the resident guest artist at "Gunay" Restaurant in Istanbul Turkey for 2 years and toured in Aruba, Germany and throughout Northern Europe.Aaron has been featured in such shows as Ain't Misbehavin', Side Show, Hair and Sweet Charity as well as Off- Broadway at the Duo Theatre and he "stole the show" in the Off-Broadway production of The Coming Out Party!
Aaron, who is living with chronic kidney disease, is also co-chairperson for the Patient Advisory Committee (PAC), Manhattan/Staten Island region, of IPRO/ESRD (End-Stage Renal Disease) Network of New York.And an active member of the Renal Support Network (http://www.rsnhope.org/ ) as a weKAN (Wellness and Education Kidney Advocacy Network) patient advocate and a PEPP (Patients Educating Patients and Professionals) speaker.Aaron also serves as vice president on the board of directors of Help Is On The Way Today, an organization founded to assist children living with HIV/AIDS.
