  Mary Barton is the VP of Special Programs for LBQA.She is also the Principal of The Barton Group, which does research and marketing consulting, with a strong background in international transportation.Barton has been involved with LBQA for 15 years and have visited Qingdao four times: "I have had a strong interest in Asia since I was a child and was fortunate to study Chinese history in high school in Nebraska.Ever since, I have taken every opportunity to visit China or learn about it!!"
  
  Barton has been involved in various aspects of international business for about 20 years.She was President of the International Business Association of Southern California and have been a board member of the Japan America Society in addition to her responsibilities for LBQA.
