Anthony L. Bartley Head Coach
Anthony L. Bartley started his professional football career playing in the European Leagues. The first team he was with was the NFL Europe team, the Frankfurt Galaxy. He then went on to play in the German-American League on the Dilligen Steelhawks. He led the Steelhawks to a National title rushing for over 800 yards and 9 touchdowns in 1996. In 1997, he moved back to the states to play in the semi-pro level on the Ventura County Cardinals in the California Football Association. He led the Cardinals to the CFA Championship in 1999.
Anthony started his coaching career before, during, and after his playing career. He started coaching at Paramount High School, Arlington High School (Riverside), and Channel Islands High School. Not only was he the Assistant Coach for the football teams; he was also the Head Coach of the track and field programs. He then moved on to higher levels of competition to be the Defensive Coordinator for the LA Inferno Semi-Pro team during their arena football season. In 2002 he moved to Women's Professional Football to be the Offensive Coordinator for the Long Beach Aftershock in the AFWL. During that season, he was moved up to Interim Head Coach and led them to their first championship in that league.
