Multimedia was the field that allowed Charlie to jump into a variety of different things.Fascinated with digital audio editing, video editing, graphic arts and photography, Charlie was able to combine his many interests into one package.As his multimedia skills developed he began producing videos, CDs and Web sites for friends.His reputation got around because a few weeks after graduating from The Art Institute he got a call from The Leonhardt Group, where he now focuses on digital movies for clients - from brand intros to product rollouts."I understand the tools and brainstorm with the designers and clients," he says.

ON THE ART INSTITUTECharlie experienced a gamut of emotions at The Art Institute - from elation to frustration - but it all paid off, he says."You get to try a lot of things," he says.And though the "Intro classes" often seemed like a slow start, he gained knowledge in a lot of areas, making him a more valuable employee."It was a mixed blessing that worked out really well," he says.

REWARDS"If you are working in a creative environment and are motivated, it's amazing what you can do.The people around me are exciting and creative, so I'm constantly challenged to be creative, too.The cool thing is, this is supposed to be fun.It is!"
