Bishop Stephen is a founding bishop of the ACCNE and has requested semi-retired status due to health problems.He was recently declared Bishop Emeritus by the Board of Trustees and continues to serve as an advisor to the Board and the active bishops of the Church.He remains a beloved member of the ACCNE and of the Mercy of God Community which he has served for many years in several different offices.
