CHRISTINA BARTHOLIC
Christina Bartholic, soprano, is in her first full season with the Michael O' Neal Chamber Singers.A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Christina began performing as a pianist and a vocalist at an early age.Later she learned to play the flute and the oboe.A graduate of The University of Georgia, she studied vocally with Dr. Gregory Broughton for seven years.She received a bachelor's degree in music therapy and was trained in treating preschool and elementary age children with special needs.She was a member of several performing groups including The University of Georgia Concert Choir, Women's Glee Club and Pitch Black, a smaller eight- member ensemble.Mrs. Bartholic performed leading roles in such shows as Oklahoma, Carousel and West Side Story and chorus roles in South Pacific and Guys and Dolls.Christina maintained a private voice and piano studio in Athens, Georgia, for several years.She also served as assistant musical director and as a soloist at her church.
