    James Barth, Sonora, Calif., is among volunteers working to complete rebuilding the replica of the "Mark Twain Cabin" on a state landmark where the author was said to have penned the "Jumping Frog of Calaveras County."The Sonora Sunrise Rotary Chapter launched this project in 2002 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Rotary International in 2005.He's on the Sonora Sunrise Board of Directors as its Foundation Chair.

    In another Rotary project, he did carpentry work on a weatherproof "Bus Stop" for the local Interfaith Distribution Center.Barth is "interested in joining SCORE so I may be able to share my work experience and hopefully be able to guide fledgling entrepreneurs in achieving their goals."His wife, Mary, is an avid quilter.She teaches classes at two local shops and was selected as Featured Quilter for the annual Sonora Quilt Show at Tuolumne County Fairgrounds.

    Most of his 32-year Chevron career was spent assigned to various operating companies in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he worked mainly in the area of Purchasing and Materials Management.He retired in 1996.
