Connie Bartelt named new manager at community center
Connie Bartelt has been appointed manager of the New Prague Area Community Center (NPACC) effective March 15, according to Jason Witt, chairman of the NPACC board of directors.

Bartelt will replace Geoff Jordan, who resigned to pursue other opportunities.

Jordan will work closely with Bartelt over the next month to assure a smooth transfer of responsibilities.

"Connie has been active in a number of community organizations," Witt said. 'She has demonstrated high energy and important organizational and people skills that will be critical for the continuing development of the community center programs."
Bartelt has been a physical education paraprofessional at St. Wenceslaus School the past two years, and also served on the board of directors of the New Prague Area Hockey Association, where she was ice time and tournament director.

"I'm very excited about the opportunity to work with the community center board and to serve the people of the New Prague area," Bartelt said.
"My door will always be open to the people in the community and I am anxious to hear people's ideas."
Bartelt and her husband, Dave, are New Prague area residents.They have three children, Ben, a freshman at New Prague High School, Bryce, a seventh-grader at St. Wenceslaus School, and Brooke, a fourth-grader at St. Wenceslaus.
