At the PTO, Michael focused on pharmaceutical chemistry, including small molecule heterocycles, and biotech.

In particular, Michael has experience in the following technologies: chemical compositions, including methods of preparation and use, such as pharmaceutical formulations for: HIV, cancer, diabetes types I and II, arthritis, anxiety, depression, psychoses, sleep disorders, dermatological conditions, bacterial infections, inflammatory disorders, pain, stroke, preterm labor, Alzheimer’s disease, Huntington’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, cardiovascular disorders, obesity, osteoporosis, IBS, and viral infections; ink formulations; pesticides; surgical devices; nanotechnologies; electroluminescent devices; and various other mechanical and chemical arts.
