James Ball graduated from Downey High School in 1952. He attended UCLA, graduating with a BS in Physical Education in 1957. He then served his country in the United States Air Force in the field of Operations and Intelligence from 1957 , 1979 and was a track coach and instructor at the United States Air Force Academy from 1964 - 1967. He retired from the USAF as a Lieutenant Colonel. Ball's athletic record is as equally impressive as his academic accomplishments. He was an alternate for the 1960 US Olympic Track Team in the 110 Meter high hurdles, a member of the UCLA NCAA Championship Track Team, had the fastest time in the world high hurdles, holds a black belt in Judo and Aikido, All American in Volleyball 1983 , 1985 and in 1994 , 1995, advisor and track coach for high altitude training for the Philippine Track and Field team for the 1968 Olympic team, and was only the second American to be named Adopted Son by the Baguio City, Philippine City Council. Jim Ball has also held numerous posts on many community organizations including the August Rotary Club, Kiwanis, Olympic Torch Relay Task Force, Greater Augusta Sports Council, Augusta Volleyball Association, and currently chairs the Evans High School Career/Tech Ed Advisory Board.

David's community involvement includes being past president of the Downey Chamber of Commerce, Gangs out of Downey and the Downey Los Amigos Kiwanis Club. He was also chairman for the Downey City Planning Commission, Downey Holiday Lane Parade and the Downey Street Faire. He was also Vice President of the Downey Coordinating Council and is a member of Citizens for Downey and the Downey Rose Float Association. Currently the Mayor of Downey, his responsibilities include being the city representative to the Downey Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, the Chamber of Commerce city affairs committee, Columbia Memorial Space Learning Center foundation, Gangs out of Downey, Gateway Cities 91/105 Needs Assessment Study Corridor Cities Committee, I-5 Consortium Cities Policy Board, LA County Sanitation Districts 2 & 18, Budget Subcommittee and the Lakewood Subcommittee.

As I mentioned earlier, Jim Ball and his "Jewish" wife praised me on air on many occasions.However, 2GB changed it's attitude and refused to give me air time consistent with reasons mentioned in point "2".

4. Since then, radio 2GB has changed it's format and went on to incite against Muslims, Arabs, migrants and Aboriginals without any valid evidence or reasons as well as without providing a democratic right of reply.My original two complaints, a number of correspondences between Jim Ball and an independent academic and other available materials of 2GB will clearly substantiate my claim.Tellingly, for predictable reasons the 2GB staff, management and their legal team are desperately doing everything in their power to hide this strategy.

5. Certainly, I would like to cross-examine Ms. Merryn Vincent and Jim Ball to establish the truth and verify a few contradictory claims made in their legal submission and affidavit.

I am surprised by the total absence of Jim Ball in the legal procedure and I am getting very suspicious about the reasons and grounds behind the earnest desire of the 2GB legal team to shield Jim Ball who has after all perpetrated the offence in the first place.

For an example, Jim Ball is not an academic, he did not discuss those objectionable and offensive materials for the purpose of research and analysis as he has been doing so every day- without providing what could by any fair minded person be considered a proportionally representative quantum of right of reply.
