Mrs. James Lewis Ball

MUNCIE - Former Muncie residents Mr. and Mrs. James Lewis Ball, now of 11710 Brookbend Drive, St. Louis, Mo., will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary during a family dinner in Sunset 44 restaurant in St. Louis.Correspondence to the couple can be sent to 110 W. Mr. and Mrs. Ball were married Feb. 12, 1954, in High Street United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Ball, the former Mildred Jean Crampton, earned a home economics degree from Ball State Teachers College and taught high school home economics, history and art courses in Centerville and Newport.

Mr. Ball was in the Army Air Force during World War II and earned an engineering degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Boston, and was an engineer for McDonnell-Douglas Aeronautical Corp., St. Louis, before retirement.
