With the volume of transactions increasing dramatically, John Balazs, Director of Reconciliation, Ruesch, explained the decision to move to an automated system: "Traditionally we managed and processed transactions manually but recognized that this was inflexible and outdated.We needed a more efficient solution that was able to cope with our increasing volumes - up to 70,000 transactions a month".

"We chose the Accurate solution because of its open architecture and flexibility to accommodate multiple reconciliation types in a single application.The solution was also scalable and customizable, enabling it to grow with us and meet our needs today and tomorrow.We could also see that we would achieve a rapid return on investment", Balazs continued.

Since implementation, the number of transactions has tripled and match rates have soared to 85%.

John earned his BS in Business Administration and MBA in Finance from the University of Maryland, College Park.For the past ten years, he has worked for the global financial services company, Ruesch International.Rotating through various Managerial and Operational positions, John is currently the Director of Treasury, where he oversees more than fifty bank accounts around the world, from which more than $10.0 billion worth of cross-border payments are made.He has also worked as a Project Manager for a non-profit association in the higher-education field.John is fluent in Hungarian and German.He lives in Maryland with his wife Veronica and their two children, Janos and Carlos.
