Jodi Bakkegard, D.C. is a native of Wahpeton, N.D.The chiropractic philosophy has influenced her a great majority of her life, as she comes from a family of chiropractors who exposed her to the gift of chiropractic at an early age.After completing pre-requisite studies at North Dakota State University, she attended Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Bloomington, MN. Since her graduation in 1997, she has been very active in numerous chiropractic ventures.Probably the most notable are her 6 humanitarian mission trips to Fortaleza, Brazil and Calcutta, India where she has served thousands of needy people in those communities.She's had the humbling honor of adjusting the Sisters associated with Mother Teresa's Missionary of Charity organization.She is a public speaker, presenting at both nationally hosted chiropractic seminars and locally at grade schools, Rotary Club and various other organizations.
She is a visionary and applies tremendous efforts in positively changing people's lives.She founded and coordinated an all female chiropractic seminar called "Chiropractic Divas".She founded a MN chapter of Cell-F Center, a group meeting format started by a 90 year old chiropractor in Brooklyn, NY over 30 years ago.The intent of the meetings are to improve confidence and communication skills and to search for a deeper internal purpose in life by sharing and listening to others.She taught health topics and provided chiropractic adjustments for low-income women and children through the YWCA's Healthy Start program.Many describe her as a luminary in the profession for her passion and dedication to serving people exceptional chiropractic.
