  As a member of Saskatchewan Wheat Pool's Board of Directors, Terry Baker is part of the leadership team that provides direction for the corporation.
  
  Mr. Baker became a delegate in 1998 and has served as a director since 2001.
  
  Mr. Baker has also been active in his community.He has held the position of Chair on the Denzil Local School Board, Denzil Credit Union Board of Directors and St. John's United Church.He is currently serving as the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Centre for Health and Safety in Agriculture and Vice-Chair of the Crop Nutrients Council.He also participates as a Board member of Agrivita Canada.
  
  Baker attended the University of Saskatchewan, where he earned his BE in Civil Engineering and attended graduate studies in Environmental Engineering.He recently completed the Directors Education Program of the Institute of Corporate Directors.His training includes the Canadian Securities Course and the Canadian Futures Exam.
  
  Mr. Baker and his wife Nancy operate a 300 cow/calf livestock operation and grain farm in the Denzil area.

  SWP President Terry Baker says delegates will vote today on a proposal that would consolidate class A voting shares and class B non-voting shares into new common shares.Baker says under the capital market initiative the Pool will be able to access the stock market for non debt capital which will help to strengthen the organization financially.The 85 Pool delegates represent about 75,000 Class A shareholders.The delegates must vote in person or by telephone no proxy votes will be used.Baker says in order for the proposal to go to the next step two-thirds of the wheat pool delegates must vote in favor of the initiative.
