Simon was awarded a degree in Land Management from Reading University in 1989, was elected as a member of the RICS in 1992 and subsequently attained a Master of Business Studies from London Metropolitan University in 1999.Since joining Churston Heard in 2003 as a member of the investment department and Head of Valuation, he spends his time assisting on due diligence issues, financial modeling and valuation.He is responsible for the firm's valuation advice working for clients including Goldman Sachs, Barclays and Bank of Ireland.Simon also co-ordinates research initiatives with Experian including an annual Zone A list of the UK's High Streets and a national ranking of retail centres.

After joining Cushman and Wakefield Healey and Baker's valuation department as an associate he was responsible for a range of client assignments including the regular valuation of portfolios for institutional clients, property companies and banks across europe.He was also responsible for Compulsory Purchase and Taxation advice.

Outside of work Simon enjoys sports such as football, rugby and cricket, but is not afraid to try his hand at cooking and gardening.Having caught the travel bug, Simon is now struggling to learn Spanish.
